The bicycle adventure was absolutely fantastic and I will always treasure that time. My current journey started in Alaska where I met my wife and have since moved to the pacific northwest where we are raising our 6 kids..... 4 cats and 2 dogs! all rescued from various situations and we still have Chena who still looks the same now at 10 1/2 years old as she did when she was 2! She still loves to run long distances as well. In March 2008 she took off on one of her adventures and chased a scent through the coastal forest not to return for 3 and a half hours! Out of breath, thirsty and tired. We had to wait in the trailhead parking lot all that time until she returned and we were late for many things that day, but "things" don't really matter when an adventure is concerned. And Chena had a grand one that day!
